In my 25-year business career, I have been both a entrepreneur and an employee of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). My passion is sales and marketing and I am a champion of small business, which is the backbone of the US economy.
I first experimented with business-to-business selling when I was 16 years old. It wasn’t easy and I wasn’t successful. When I was 18, I dove in again – this time head first. I gradually fell in love with selling and I got better at it with each call I made. Over time, I acquired an education in successful marketing and sales techniques – both though academic theory and real-life practice on the street.
Without the sales, marketing, and management resources of a large business enterprise, the small business owner/manager could use all the help he or she can get. Hopefully, this little blog will help in some small way.
